- Scope and ContentMary Smith: she lived in Potton with her mother. On the evening of 10 March she saw one of her aprons safe in the barn where the boiler was. When they missed the boiler on the Thursday she also missed the apron and other things. She identified the apron produced as the one she had lost. It was made of an old gingham dress and she still had some remains of the dress. Thomas Hart: Scott and Walker were carrying the boiler away in the apron. He took them away and had kept them together since and had kept them together since. Statement of the accused: Susan Walker - the boiler came in the apron and there it remained. John Scott – he had nothing to say about the apron. He knew nothing about it.
