- Scope and Content11 March: George Peter Livius. The prisoners in No.1 yard complain of the bread. The surgeon has examined it and thinks it good. The Gaoler thinks it good and only deficient in colour which proceeds from the yeast being of dark colour. The Turnkey is of the same opinion and would not object to it for his own consumption. I have tasted it and find no reason for complaint. 14 march: Thomas Abbott Green. The glazing [for the night cell windows] shall be ordered pursuant to the order of Quarter Sessions.
