    i) the Ven. Frederick Bathurst Canon of Ely and Archdeacon of Bedford ii) the Rt. Reverend James Russell Lord Bishop of Ely iii) William Henry Bennett, 14 Red Lion Square, Middlesex, gentleman iv) the Ven. Frederick Bathurst , as above Alfred Elton, Shenstone Lodge, Bedford esq. John Harvey, Ickwell Bury, Biggleswade esq. Alfred Thynne, Woodside, Turvey, esq. Henry Osborn, Chicksands, Shefford esq. reciting conveyance X455/11, and reciting that the sum of £1590 consisted of a sum of £1550 and some interest which had been placed in hands of (i) 'for the advancement of the work of Deaconesses in the Diocese of Ely under the authority and guidance of the Bishop of the said Diocese' and especially for him to buy the said messuage for the benefit of 'the Institution called The St. Pauls Deaconess Institution in the Diocese of Ely'. GRANT AND CONFIRMATION by (i) to (iii) to hold uses of (iv) for ever ... messuage in occupance James Pierce and land on which it stands ... piece of land lying to East of messuage 1) Trustees to stand seized of premises 'In trust for the benefit of the said St. Paul's Deaconess Institution in the Diocese of Ely' either as a residence for the Deaconesses or by letting or selling the same and applying rents and profits for the benefit of the Institution as Bishop shall think fit 2) Trustees shall sell and apply profits at direction of Bishop 3) Profits can be invested 4) Trustees may let 5) If the St. Pauls Institution for Deaconesses shall be no longer continued, then money and property go for advancement of work of Deaconesses in Diocese of Ely
