  • Scope and Content
    George Peter Livius. 4 prisoners in the Infirmary and they comprise all that are unwell. [Joseph] Holloman is still in a precarious state - the others are improving. George Donaldson one of the debtors only required the County provision for is subsistence for two days. 31 prisoners in custody. An order has been received this morning from the Secretary of State to remove seven male convict in addition to the order before recieved for the removal or the female convict. The Governor and the Matron will proceed with them on Friday morning, with one male assistant which is all he requires. The Matron will take this opportunity of availing herself of the permission given at the Sessions for leave of absence of a month or 6 weeks. The female prisoners will be attended by the Governors duaghter and the female officer during the Matron's absence.
