30 January: Frederick H Neve, Stephen Thornton. Three men continue ill one in a deep decline and not likely to recover. 2 February: George P Livius. William Waples is gradually getting worse and not likely to recover, James Brain who is in a very weak state of both body 7 mind, Michael Gilman who has acted as nurse is now suffering under inflammation of the lungs and John Breed who has had a relapse.
