    Offence: pretending to Alfred Ing, constable of the county of Bedford, that he would like to be a soldier and enlist into the Bedfordshire Militia and that he knew of no impediment as to why he should not join. As he knew he was not free to serve in the Militia, Spacey did falsely take a shilling from Ing, to the great damage and deception of Ing and to the evil example of all others. Plea: Guilty Sentence: 3 calendar months imprisonment, to be kept at hard labour at the House of Correction
