- Scope and ContentThomas Charles Higgins 59 male 3 female prisoners. Mr Short [surgeon] reportes a remarkable pretence at illness on the part of the prisoner William Cox, he underwent every kind of discipline of bleeding and cupping and blisters and physic before he was induced to acknowledge himself convalescent. Mr Short thinks the main object was to excite sympathy from the court to pronounce a mild sentence. James & Charles Beeson are to be moved 'Habeas Corpus' to Hertford Gaol to be tried there for robbery.
