    Reciting will of Samuel Rogers Mansfield late of Thrapston, surgeon, deceased, father of i), dated 16 December 1755, by which he bequeathed ... all hereditaments in Oakley and Clapham, Bedfordshire, Desborough, Northamptonshire, and Thrapston to his son and to Biddy and Martha Mansfield, his two daughters, to be divided equally between them as tenants in common, and reciting that i) and Biddy are now of age, but Martha is 19, and reciting a marriage has been arranged between ii) and Martha Mansfield, and that if she dies without issue under the age of 21, or dies leaving issue which dies under 21, i) would be heir at law to her third part, and that in these circumstances it has been arranged that ii) shall be entitled to her third AGREEMENT that if the marriage takes place, and either of the above circumstances occurs, i) will pay ii) within three months £156..13s..4d for the third part of the property in Desborough, and also a third part of value of property in Clapham, Oakley and Thrapston if it has been sold, or a third by valuation. Reciting bond by i) and ii) and Biddy Mansfield dated 31 October 1758 to John Simpson of Bythorn, Huntingdonshire, gentleman for penal sum £300 to secure £150 and interest, and bond of same parties and date to William Brewin of Oundle, waggoner, to secure payment £150, and reciting that if the intended marriage takes place and Martha lives to age 21, a third part shall be sold and ii) be entitled to it for life, and when paid ii) is to discharge bonds.
