Scope and Content
Has examined Court rolls of Leighton Buzzard and finds that William Pym and wife Margaret (grandparents) held capital messuage, closes and 110 acres arable in Heath and Reach, settled on them in tail. Margaret survived; on her death William Pym (father) admisssion held till 1705, when he suffered recovery to bar entail (26 September 1705), then surrendered to use of his will (18 October). 13 June 1717 William Pym (correspondent) found of age at death of father, hence his title to dispose of property is sound.
