The convict who stated her name to be Mary [Ann} Conrade [aka Courade, Conreve] now confesses that her real name is Macdonald and that she is the wife of James Macdonald who was tried as an accomplice with her at the March Assizes and sentenced to 7 years tranportation. She was confined on the 6th instant and her female child baptised on the 14th and the surgeon reports as recovered from her confinement.
