- Scope and ContentFrederick H Neve, Philip Hunt, John Hull. 53 prisoners. The Gaoler reported that he had conveyed William Albone, John Butler, James Warner and John Chesham to the hulks, in order to their being trannsported; that their conduct on the journey was not good, and that two of them, William Albone and James Warner, expressed their regret that they had not actually murdered the gamekeepers whom they had been convicted of attempting to murder, and who moved whereby have been unable to bear witness against them. The Gaoler states that he reported their conduct in this respect, to the Overseer of Convicts at Woolwich, on board the Justitia hulk. The female convict, Mary Ann Courade, is not yet brought to bed. The Gaoler reported that Joshua Beard, committed for want of sureties to keep the peace, appears to be quite insane, and he ought to be removed to a lunatic asylum.
