Rent: 54s 9d, 3 coome of good wheat white or purkey and 5 coome of malt sweet clean and well dressed or price of best wheat and malt in money according to market at Cambridge (ii) not permitted to assign said premises without permission of (i) Licence to Alienate (Deed Poll) (i) grant (ii) right to assign said premises NOW: Consideration: £500 Remainder of term of 21 years assigned to ii) Signed: i) Witnesses: William Haden Samuel Luke Endorsed: the 28th October 1724 The within named Thomas Topham did by Lease and Release the Lease bearing date the ninth & the Release the tenth day of October (illegible.) convey all his freehold lands & tenements in the parish feilds & bounds (illegible) Eaton Socon & Divihoe in the County of Bedford to me for securing the payment of five hundred pounds and interest on the eleventh day of Aprill next which five hundred pounds and the within menconed sume of five hundred pounds are both one and the same sume and the lands and tenements within menconed and the said freehold lands & tenements are both security for noe more then onely one sume of five hundred pounds (with interest) there being Noe more due to me on both the said secutities Signed: ii) Witnesses: William Haden, Samuel Luke
