Indictment - James Studman of Luton for breaking and entering a building belonging to Henry Gregory and others and stealing 20,000 yards of straw plait value £80, 400 bundles of straw plait value £80, 20 pieces of string value 1d, 20 pieces of worsted value 1d and 20 pieces of tape value 1d, and John Deacon for receiving these goods knowing them to be stolen. Studman previously convicted at Assizes at Bedford on 11 March 1843. Plea each not guilty. Verdict guilty.
