- Scope and ContentDetails given: -- The reversion of one-quarter of the manor or lordship of Cordwell (Cauldwell), Bedfordshire, with the royalty of fishing and 40 acres meadow in St Mary’s parish, Bedford, thereto belonging; tithes and a farm with dovehouse in the occupation of [-] Bromsal, baker, rent £140 per annum; a messuage and lands in St Mary’s parish, late in the occupation of [-] Phillips, rent £18 per annum; left to John Arnold under the will of grandmother Christian Wallinger of Surrey, widow (after uncle John and aunts Franciscoe and Ann Wallinger); sold by John Arnold to William Belchier. Recites: 6,7 November 1754. Conveyance: John Arnold of Middlesex to William Belchier. 28 October 1763. Mortgage: William Belchier to Benjamin Rosewell. Amie Garnault has now contracted to purchase the contingent right and interest.
