(i) constitutes (ii) attornies to tender £10 in gold to Prince Charles, then to be trustees for manors of Balsall and Ichington Longa (Warwickshire) with 200 messuates, 20 tofts, 7 mills, 15 dovehouses, 250 gardens, 2,500 acres land, 750 acres meadow, 3,500 acres pasture, 1,500 acres wood, 8,000 acres heath, 100 acres moor, £10 rent in Balsall, Knowle, Hampton in Arden, Inchington Longa, Stockton, Stonythorpe, Arley, Balscott, Sloly. Advowson of Ichington vicarage. (Recites covenant to levy a fine 21 November, 1611 between (a) (i) above (b) Henry, Prince of Wales (c) Sir Thomas Chaloner of Steeple Claydon (Buckinghamshire) chamberlain of (b), of above property to (c) in trust for (b). With proviso that (a) would pay (b) £10 to determine the use. Death of Prince Henry property passed to Prince Charles). Witnesses : William Chaloner, Anthony Tracy, William Norton, William Turke. Endorsed : Declared by Edward Yates that witnesses were present and that their signatures were in own hands. 29 March, 1617.
