I am credibly informed that there is in the records of the province of Pennsylvania a memorial of a quantity of land bought by Thomas Farmborough of London, who was our Great Grand father, of William Penn, which has never yet been claimed; consequently not taken up or located. I am also informed that a warrant for the land might be obtained at a small expence, as it don't need going to law to dispossess anybody. The said Thomas Farmborough dying intestate, his son Thomas administered, who leaving only one sister, our late grandmother, it appears these lands descent to her issue. Cousin Hannahbella Marshall has taken part of a convenient house at Tottenham ... she is more humble & serious than formerly.
