    Mortgage by way of appointment Parties: (i) Benjamin Bennett of Dunstable, brewer; (ii) Henry Brandreth of Houghton Regis, esquire Reciting: - MN42/3; - (i) needed a £400 loan Operative Part: - (ii) lent £400 at 5% interest to (i) secured on (a)-(b) Property: (a) a small plot of land in Nine Acres Close, previously part of the 41 acres, 2 roods, 33 perches in Bottom Field allotted to William Hanbury Potter Jones at inclosure; (b) messuage or dwellinghouse, now a public house known by the name of The Balloon lately erected (a); bounded W by land of George James Sullivan, esquire; N by the road from Dunstable to Luton; E and S by the remainder of (a).
