    i) Thomas Perret of ‘the fyne of Lewetun’ (?Luton) yeoman. ii) Richard Elyng of Leighton Buzzard husbandman. --House in prebend of Leighton Buzzard, Roger Esgore east, Tenancy of fraternity of Corpus Christi west. Lands in Leighton Buzzard Soulbury & Linslade. 5 ½ acres meadow in Heath & Reach. Covenants (1) for distress if rent in arrears, property to be sold after 6 days distraint. (2) (i) to leave 2 acres meadow each year to use of (ii) 1 acre in Mill mead Leighton Buzzard, 1 acre in Soulbury field (3) (ii) to have Town close during same term & may leave the last years crop there, which is to be taken by (ii) before Midsummer following & the latter math by Michaelmas. (4) (ii) to have close in ‘Lecke ynd’, except that i) shall have time (to gather this years crop) until a fortnight before Lammas if necessary. 5) (i) to keep house in repair with timber, tiling, paling & walling, likewise to mill. To keep rope & line repair of the well. (Recites that (i) acts in right of the heirs of John Blakehed alias Oveyat, late of Leighton Buzzard.)
