Parties:
(i) Edward Copleston, Bishop of Llandaff and Dean of Saint Paul’s Cathedral, London and the chapter;
(ii) John Pedley of Caddington Hill [Hertfordshire], esquire.
Operative Part:
- (ii) surrendered an indenture of 13th June 1828 and lease of 20th November 1824 to (i);
- (i) leased (a) to (ii) for 21 years for £15 per annum and £11/3/5 per annum for Land Tax redeemed, subject to payment to the Vicar of Caddington of annual corn rent
Property:
(a) capital messuage at Caddington Hill and farm adjoining the road from Market Street to Luton containing 545 acres, 2 roods, 8 perches in the occupation of John Pedley
