Details given: -- A messuage in Maulden and close of 4 acres between Shoats field east, the land late of John Ward and Blackmore southwest, Lyons farm land north, the highway northwest, purchased by William Wainwright (grandfather of Michael) from Elizabeth Storer, widow, Richard Pinceham senior and junior,1690; -- 5 acres in the common fields of Maulden, purchased by William Wainwright of Richard Fowkes of Ampthill, grocer, 1682, and mentioned in an indenture of 1660 between Richard Clifton and Edmund Fary; -- 6 acres similarly bought of Henry Ward of Maulden, 1685; -- 22 acres similarly bought of Samuel Rhodes of Flitwick, esquire, 1700, late in the occupation of William Astrey and William Holstock; -- 2 roods in Wickham field similarly bought of John Sansome of Maulden, 1684.
