    Details given: A messuage wherein Michael Barber, brother of Thomas, now dwells, bounded south by the messuage of William Crawley senior, and the ground of Francis Crawley, esquire, called Courte Close, and north by the tenement and grounds of Sir Robert Napier, baronet, and by Sunings Lane, east by the churchyard of the parish church of Luton, and west by the king's highway from Luton to the Brach. 4 1/2 acres in the town fields of Luton as follows: -- in Blackwater field, 1 acre adjoining on the west the way from Luton to Stapleford; and also adjoining the lands of Sir Robert Napier, of Edward Ewer, gentleman, and of William Crawley senior, late purchased from Thomas Barber; -- in Bridge field, 3 1/2 acres (2 acres, 3 roods, 3 roods) adjoining the lands of the following: Thomas Winch, [-] Catherall, William Preston, gentleman, George Cheney, gentleman, Thomas Atwood, Francis Purratt, Thomas Crawley.
