Mentions Major Moore; the manor estate; appointment of gamekeeper; Neighbour Scott is thinking of buying an estate in Berkshire in which case Sadleir might consider buying Scott’s good house and 27 acres land in Aspley and thus be able to pull down the manor house, and How would buy the other 30 acres. How mentions past disputes. Has had no intercourse with Major Moore for 2 years. Suggests planting firs, pines and larch on barren ground now producing only firze. F Moore has many young plants.
