Scope and Content
To be buried in churchyard of Wavendon near the chancel where his father and mother are buried, and room in the grave left for Mrs Vane alias Hone if she chooses to use it;
His heir at law to be advertised for, and to him is bequeathed the manor of Whaddon with Nash, Whaddon Hall, Whaddon Chace, Whaddon Park and all other hereditaments in Whaddon and Nash, Great and Little Horwood, Singleborough, Totenhoe alias Tatnal, Shenly, Mursly, Seldon and Bletchley, Buckinghamshire, subject to legacies.
If no heir at law found, the estate to go to Mr William Lowndes of Winslow, major in the Militia, on condition he changes his name to Selby.
Property in St Clements Danes Church yard, London, the Isle of Ely, the manor of Hertingford Bury, Hertfordshire, to go to the Reverend Mr John Lord, minister of Drayton, Buckinghamshire, and to Mr Richard Filkes, apothecary, of Woburn, his executors, to sell and divide the money between the Foundling Hospital, Magdalen House and the Lambeth Asylum.
