to ii) John Farey, Woburn, carpenter
... of a cottage in Aspley Guise with orchard and pightle where Mary Samm, spinster deceased, once lived, and two tenements in Aspley Guise where Ellerd Jebell and Robert Walker lived
which had been devised to John Samm under will of Mary Samm;
... messuage in Aspley Guise where John Tilcock yeoman deceased once lived, afterwards turned into 3 tenements, inhabited by Richard Cleaver, Margaret Chepsey widow and Henry Burton,
which came to Ann wife of John Samm senior under the will of John Tilcock;
and that the capital and interest were not repaid, so that the estate of John Farey became absolute, and
reciting a further mortgage being a demise for 1000 years for £35
by i) John Samm senior and wife Ann, John Samm junior of Aspley Guise, victualler and wife Ann
to ii) John Ireland, Woburn, malster
which sum has not been paid so that the estate has been made absolute, and
reciting deed 1 May 1741 between
i) John Samm senior and wife Ann
ii) John Samm junior and wife Ann
iii) John Farey
iv) Richard Ward, Leighton Buzzard, gentleman
being Assignment by i), ii), and iii) to iv), in consideration of £22 paid to iii) by iv), of the premises for the remainder of the terms of 500 and 1000 years, and
reciting that the terms of 500, 1000 and 1000 years are now all vested in John Ireland, securing £115..6..8d
ASSIGNMENT by i) to ii) of his mortgage interest for £80

Endorsed with a note reciting that Ann Samm widow of John Samm junior and her three children, Thomas and Elizabeth Samm and Mary Scottney had sealed deeds for making a tenant to precipe for suffering a common recovery for the tenement late Tilcocks, Agreement by Walter Scott to produce deeds etc
