Warrant to the High Constables of the Hundred of Willey to apportion and impress the 100 mattocks, spades, shovels and hatchets (of which one third at least to be mattocks) by virtue of command from Sir Thomas Fairfax. To be marked and delivered to the Swan Inn at Bedford tomorrow by 4 in the afternoon. Then to be taken in an impressed cart to Mr. Wilkes, Mr.Seares or Mr.Foster of Leighton. William Boteler
