    Deed to lead the uses of a fine before 12 February next on ... late dissolved Priory and Manor of Harwolde ... rectory or parsonage of Harwolde ... pastures called Woodend or Allisoe in Woodhill also Odell, Newton and Puddington to uses, i.e. “the auncient mantion howse of the said Priory or Mannor” of Harwolde and the arable land, meadow etc. in Harrold to the use of ii) for 9 years from 30 September last, (paying £40 per annum to Francis Farrer for life, then to Martha Farrer (for life) then to ii) for life of the survivor, then to William Boteler son and heir of ii) and his heirs male, in default to Thomas Boteler 2nd son of ii) and heirs male, in default to successive sons and heirs male, in default heirs female; reversion to right heirs of Francis Farrer As to “The new erected Mantion howse upon parte of the scite of the Priory or Mannor aforesaid” pasture grounds called Connygree and Wellox as are leased to Robert Barcall of Harrold, which were specifically excepted from the above, and also the rectory, Neyther Grounds and Backholme in Harrold to the use of ii) for 9 years or the life of Dame Anne, then to use of Francis Farrer for life, then to Martha Farrer for life for jointure, then to ii) and heirs male etc., in default heirs female, in default right heirs of Francis Farrer As to the remainder to the use of Francis Farrer for life, then to ii) for life of survivor, then to heirs male, in default heirs female, in default right heirs of i) Sir Thomas Boteler to pay i) annually £60 for the term of 9 years, making in all £100 per annum agreed and sealed i) and ii) Witnesses: John Hayward, William Boothe, John Smythe, William Johnson, William Doughtie, Thomas Johnson
