Application for the a certain footpath in the parish of Elstow, crossing the Cambridge Branch railway of the London & North Western Railway Company, between the 15 ¼ and 15 ½ mile posts and being part of the public footpath between the high road from Bedford to Ampthill and the highroad from Elstow to Ampthill, may be stopped up and a footway more commodious to the public made at right angles to the railway towards Elstow Green, then crossing the railway by means of a footbridge.
