    - that the outside of William Barker’s W. wall shall commence and be drawn from the brickwork at the S.E. corner of Laurence Gall’s house and to continue in a straight line 45’ from the front. - that William Barker is to shore up and maintain Laurence Gall’s house during the progress of the works which William Barker has now in hand; to take down the old side wall (which is 14’ in length from the front) by degrees and work up the same immediately so as to put Laurence Gall to the least possible inconvenience; to make good all damages (except the plastering on the inside of Laurence Gall’s house which is to be done at Laurence Gall’s expense); to make good Laurence Gall’s roof to the new end of William Barker’s house and to put in a strong and sufficient lead gutter of 6 or 7lb. lead to carry off the water from the back part of when done to be the property of Laurence Gall and in lieu of the eaves (which now belong to Laurence Gall extending as far as the lead gutter is to be carried but no further); to take down a privy (on or before 29 Sep 1834) which projects onto LaurenceGall’s barn, the ground upon which it stands in future to belong to Laurence Gall in lieu of the eaves as aforesaid; to put up proper supports to the beams in Laurence Gall’s house and make good all damage as above. - that there is nothing in this Agreement that is intended to affect the eaves of Laurence Gall’s building beyond the extent of the 45’ as determined upon.
