    To be buried at Biddenham Reciting that Thomas and John Woodward of Biddenham are bound to William Newton deceased for the payment of £12 9s 6d, and that John Yett of Biddenham and William Ampes late of Bedford are bound likewise for the payment of £5 8s, which sums were in trust for the testator, £15 of the money arising is to be put in the keeping of the testator’s master, Sir William Boteler, knight, for the maintenance and portion of testator’s daughter Joan. She is to marry with the approval of Sir William Boteler and Mr Thomas Farrar. If daughter die money to son Thomas Faldoe, if he die without issue to his son’s wife and to testator’s daughter Woodham. Son to have the money beyond the £15 to pay debts. To daughter Joan the linen, except a childbed sheet to daughter Woodham. To grandchild Elizabeth Woodham 40s To son Rowland 20s Son Thomas to be executor Overseers master Sir William Boteler and Mr Thomas Farrar “My Ladys sonn”.
