    i)Randle Wilbraham, ii) Peter Bonnin of Staple Inn. Property as in KK43 above. Recite (1) number KK43 above. (2) Will of Charles Leigh, 30 July 1748, devising real estate to wife Barbara for life, then lands in Hoddesdon (Hertfordshire) to Dowager Lady Monson for life, remainder to nephew Thomas Leigh. (3) Death of Charles & nephew Thomas, leaving Edward Leigh infant as heir.. (4) Decree in Chancery 25 June 1753 in case Cecil Forrester & John Price, legatees of Charles Leigh on behalf of the legatees versus Lady Monson, Lady Barbara Leigh & Edward Lord Leigh, ordered that account of debts & personal estate of testor. be made that creditors should prove debts, that mortgages were to be considered as debts to be satisfied out of the personal estate of the testor, but legatees were to receive a share of the personal estate before it was exhausted by mortgagees. (5) Death of Lady Monson & Lady Barbara, will of latter 8 August 1750 appointing Right Honourable George Earl of Halifax & Honourable James Lumley esquire as executors proved 8 March 1755. (6) Report by master in Chancery 2 July 1755 that £7,079 8s 3d was owing by executors to be paid out of personal estate of Lady Barbara & that £1,000 was to be paid to (i). (7)Decree of Chancery 16 December 1755 that interest on mortgages was to be paid by Lord Leigh from rents of lands since death of Lady Barbara & that on payment the mortgagees were to assign mortgages to trustees).
