    Removal order for for the three children of Tabitha Hart, widow, by her first husband John Foster, deceased, namely William Foster aged 13, George Foster aged 9 years and Edward Foster aged 7 years. Examination of Tabitha Hart at present residing in Waresley: Her maiden name was Tabitha Cousins, her parents were John Cousins and Susan Cousins, she was born at Warboys in the County of Huntingdon. When she was 22 years of age she married John Foster of the parish of Renhold, labourer, was married at Whittlesea in the County of Cambridge on 1st April 16 years ago. About 7 years ago her husband was taken ill at Ramsey and was sent by the Parish Officers of Ramsey to the Parish Officers of Renhold, she was with him and her four children byhim Viz. William, Charles, george and Edward. They were taken to the house of Mr Street the Overseer of Renhold and from thence to Bedford Union House. She, her husband and four children were in the Union House three weeks and then her husband was removed to the Infirmary where he died about a fortnight after he was removed there. She and her children remaoned in the Union for three weeks after her husbands death. At the expiration of that time she went before the Board of Guardians in the Bedford Union House and requested them to make her an allowance. Mr Street, the Overseer of Renhold was present, and she heard him agree to give her and her children 6 shillings a week. She then went down to Ramsey with her children and received for two or three months the six shillings a week from the hands of the Relieving Officer of the Huntingdon Union. The payment was discontinued and she then came to the Board of Guardians at Bedford and received fifty shillings. Six years ago last 5th November she married again to Thomas Hart of Waresley in the County of Huntingdon, he died on the 20th August last, she saw him lying dead, she was present when her former husband John Foster died. Her son Charles Foster died a twelvemonth last March. Her son William Foster is 13 years of age, her son, George Foster id nine years of age, her son Edward Foster is seven years of age.. Before her husband John Foster, herself and children were removed to Renhold from Ramsey he swore to his settlement being at Renhold in the County of Bedford. The examination of William Ennals, Relieving Officer of the St Neots union touching the place of the legal settlement of Tabitha Hart and her three children William Foster aged 13, George Foster aged 9 years and Edward Foster aged 7 years: I am one of the Relieving officers of the St Neots Union in the Counties of Huntingdon, Bedford and Cambridge. The parish of Waresley in the County of Huntingdon is part of this Union. I produce a certificate bearing date 21st November 1844 signed by Marion Welstead the presiding Chairman of the Board of Guardians. Teh certificate is sealed of the said Guardians and and countersigned by William Mattock as their Acting Clerk, wherein it is certified that Tabitha Hart, widow, and her three children William Foster aged 13, George Foster aged 9 years and Edward Foster aged 7 years. became chargeable 7th November 1844 to the parish of Waresley.
