And that the Prior of Newnham owed suit of court and made default And it was presented that John Wareyn’ had not kept his water in the demesne clear, under a penalty of iijs iiijd and that the same should repair his holding before the next Court under the aforesaid penalty. And that the same John should kill his ewe which is causing nuisance to the tenants under the aforesaid penalty Amercement ijd [2d] And that Richard Lacy has ijd [2d] common trespassed in the sown fields, with his plough. Therefore he is amerced. And that none are permitted to trespass with their ploughs over the gores of the township, under the above penalty.
