And that the Prior of Newnham iiijd [4d], Thomas Bawde ijd [2d] owe suit and did not come. Therefore they are amerced. And that Nicholas Crews ijd [2d] has not put the timber allowed to him by the bailiff for making a stable in his holding as he was ordered above in the last View. Therefore he is at mercy to the lord. And he was ordered to use it for the benefit of the lord before the next, under a penalty of xld [40d]. And that John Taylour ijd [2d] has not used xx [20] laths allowed to him for repairs. Therefore he is at mercy. And he was ordered to use them before the feast of Saint Peter in chains [1st. August] under a penalty of xld [40d]. And that the same has not used reeds for making the above repairs and he was ordered to buy them and put them in repairs before the next under the Council’s penalty. Amercements ijd [2d], ijd [2d], ijd [2d] And that John Tyler’ ijd [2d] has not repaired his malt-kiln as he was ordered above at the last [court]. And that the same John has one Insethouse needing thatch. Therefore he is ordered to put them right before the next etc. And that John Taylour ijd [2d] has one barn without sufficient roofing. Therefore he is at mercy to the lord. And that Nicholas Crews ijd [2d] had timber allowed to him to repair his hall and that the said hall is ruined and he has not used the said timber in the repairs of the said hall as was ordered above. Therefore he is at mercy to the lord. And he is ordered to put it right before the next under a penalty of xld [40d]. Amercement ijd [2d], amercement ijd [2d], amercement iijd [3d] And that Richard Taylour ijd [2d] has one barn needing roofing and he was ordered to put it right before the next feast of Saint Peter in Chains under a penalty of xld [40d]. And that John Tyler’ ijd [2d] has stopped up one footpath from below his holding according to ancient use. Therefore he is at mercy to the lord. And that Thomas Gybon’ iijd [3d] stands and lingers under the window of Randolph Bawdewyn and eavesdrops. Therefore he is at mercy to the lord. Amercements iijd [3d], amercement iijd [3d], amercement iijd [3d] Also they present that John Smyth Shepherd iijd [3d], assaulted Thomas Sheppard against the peace with one baton of no value. Therefore he is at mercy to the lord. And that the same Thomas Sheppard iijd [3d] assaulted the same John against the peace and struck him and drew blood. Therefore he is at mercy to the lord. And that John Waryn iijd [3d] assaulted John Sheppard, against the peace and struck him with a certain baton valued at xijd [12d] and drew blood. Therefore he is at the mercy of the lord. Amercement ijd [2d] And they present that Robert Partrych ijd [2d] has stopped up the common way at Partrych Hegge causing nuisance to the tenants. Therefore he is at mercy and he was ordered to put it right it before the next, under a penalty of xld [40d]. Amercement iiijd [4d] Also they present that Thomas Gybon ijd [2d] assaulted John Myton, against the peace, with one Mukforke valued at iiijd [4d]. Therefore he is at mercy of the lord. And that Agnes Partrych ijd [2d] stole two pairs of stockings valued at iijd [4d] from the goods and chattels of Robert Cook. Therefore she is amerced. Therefore they are at mercy.
