Assignment of mortgage: (i) Honourable Elizabeth Leigh of Leighton Buzzard, widow (ii) Thomas Weekes (iii) Thomas Sholtbolt of Leighton Buzzard and Christopher Eaton of Luton, clerk; persons in trust for the said Thomas Weekes. To (iv) Frances Ashton of London, widow. Recites BS 388, and covenant to levy a fine, 15 June 1716. Thomas Weekes to Thomas Sholtbolt and Christopher Eaton, on condition that the latter should sell the above property [here described as a messuage, two barns, one stable, one garden, one orchard, 190 acres of land, 10 acres of pasture, 6 acres of wood, in Thrales end] to repay the principal sum due; which fine was levied, but the principal sum not repaid.
