Settlement by John Lord St John on Ann (his daughter and heiress-apparent) of £3000 secured on the manors of Clifton, Holwell and Stanford, excepting the capital messuage of Stanfordbury, and all the messuages, farms etc in the parish of Southill, which were formerly in the possession of William Gostwick or John Hunt, in security for the payment. Details as to the mode and time of payment; and a proviso giving John Lord St John the power of revocation on payment of five shillings to the following persons: Leonard Baker, Thomas Andrewe, Thomas Alford, Thomas Hutchinson, Lewys Griffithe, Reynold Portrey.
