Conveyance (lease and release) 29/30 January 1735 i) Elizabeth Linford of Maulden, one of the daughters of Nathan Linford late of Maulden, butcher, dec. ii) George Knowles of Dunstable, draper Conveyance of a fourth part of a cottage or tenement at Maulden; 2 closes of pasture or arable adjoining; 25 acres of arable land in the common fields of Maulden; a cottage and 12 acres of arable land in Wilstead; three cottages at Clophill B. Conveyance (lease and release) 2/3 December 1783 i) John Green of Dunstable, victualler, and Elizabeth his wife -John being brother and heir of George Knowles Green late of Markyate Street, yeoman, who was devisee in fee of George Knowles late of Dunstable, draper, his late grandfather ii) Nathan Medcraft of westoning, gentleman. Conveyance of premises in Maulden and Clophill as above C. Fine Hilary Term 24 Geo.III (1783/4) Nathan Medcraft and John Page alias Jefferies, plaintiffs John Green and wife Elizabeth, Daniel Ellingham and wife Ann, and Edward Hannell and wife Mary, deforciants - one cottage and garden and orchard, and one fourth part of four cottages, four gardens, four orchards, 25 acres of land, five acres of meadow, and 5 acres of pasture and common pasture at Stanbridge, Maulden and Clophill The above deeds relating to land conveyed to 2) but forming part of a larger transaction
