Indictment - Charles Duncombe, for (i) stealing 2 gold chains, 2 gold lockets, one gold whistle, one silver pencil case, one collar stud, 3 silver watches, 2 pieces of silver, one silver watch case, a piece of a silver spoon, one silver thimble, a knife and a silver sixpence from his master Joseph Spiers; (ii) receiving the same goods knowing them to have been stolen. Plea guilty. Sentence 14 days and 5 years Reformatory.
