Folios 1-2 Court of Requests. Bill (Petition) from the lessees of the Dean and Chapter; reciting that they hold by lease for 21 years, Caddington Common alias Caddington Great Wood, and the tithes of corn, grain and hay therefrom; and have sub-leased it to various inhabitants of Caddington; that some of these and other inhabitants declare that the Dean and Chapter have no title to the Common, and have trespassed on the land; petitioners pray for amends. 5 May 1636 Folio 3 Order by Privy Council for defendants’ quiet possession of the Common until cause be heard. 16 May 1636 Injunction to observe Order by Privy Council dated 16 May 1636. 21 May 1636
