- TitleLetter from Sir George Osborn. Postponing my canvass-book. Convinced Gostelow will do it better than the 2 Law-agents you mention; ask him & Gresham to begin it.
- Date free text17 Mar 1795
- Production dateFrom: 1795 To: 1795
- Scope and ContentI Propose keeping on Pearse for Bedford & Barford Hundreds, Wooton for Willey, Wilsted for Stodden, Gresham for Biggleswade & Clifton, Hooper with young Sandon under him for Manshead & Flitt, Gostelow for part of Flitt & Wixamtree. Shall have full explanation with three leading interests of lady Grey, Lord Hampden & Lord Bute. Should we want a 2nd candidate, consider who we can find better than Payne or Thornton. Young Whitbread's breast burns with ambition, but he is convinced that I am strong, well- prepared, and determined to support my son. Little proability of father lasting 3 months.
