- Scope and Content(1) Thomas Bunker, china and glass dealer at Woburn – he occupies a house at Woburn which fronts the public highway. His back premises lead into the lane marked G on the Plan produced. Within 13 years last past there was a bar at the north-east end of the said lane, placed to prevent the access of carriages and horses through the land which was subsequently removed leaving a passage for horses and carriage. The lane passes the back of all the houses which front the public highway through Woburn, all of which he believes belong to the Duke of Bedford. The lane is narrow and hardly convenient for 2 carriages to pass through or to meet therein. The lane only leads to pass the back of the said houses, and is only separated from the public highway by a few yards.
