Meanwhile gentry & clergy forming an association in every Hundred to prevent increase of disturbances: enclose copy; please communicate to farmers & others in parish & get it signed by supporters; return to me tomorrow evening. Also have some papers printed by Lord Lieutenant's order to inform people; but this omits to say every militia man gets 1s. a day.
