Indictment - William Cranfield for falsely pretending to David Southam Panting that Mr Frost of 30 Nelson Road, Great Yarmouth had ordered 4 dozen straw hats, 1 1/2 dozen velvet hats, 6 dozen felt hats and 1/2 dozen cloth hats and unlawfully obtaining the hats from him with intent to defraud. Plea not guilty. Verdict not guilty.
