    Conveyance (Feoffment): John Man of Pulloxhyll, yeoman, John Byrte, Thomas Kynge, and John Robynson, all of Pulloxhyll, husbandmen, with the special assent of John Dermar and Richard Heddy, churchwardens of Pulloxhyll, and with the assent of Richard Gamble, Audrey Fyelde, Robert Chylde and William Beaumont of Pulloxhyll, husbandmen and chief inhabitants of the same village, together with the whole mutual assent of other honest inhabitants of the same village; for £4, paid to them for the use of the common aid ['communis auxilii'] of the said village; to Richard Mylwarde, son and heir of Roger Mylwarde late of Fyeldon, deceased. Land in Fielden [details given]. Endorsed in a later hand: 'Churchwardens and Chief Inhabitants of Pulloxhill grant with warrantie 3 acres one Rood in Felden to Richard Milward and his heirs'.

    Details given: 3 acres 1 rood of arable dispersed in the field of Feldon; whereof 1 acre lies in Hyltfurlong between the land of the lord Henry Gray, knight, on the west and that of Simon Fitz, gentleman, on the east, and abuts on Hylte meade; and 1 rood in the same furlong between the land of the said lord Henry Gray on both sides, and abuts on Hylt mede; and 1 acre in the furlong called 'between Hylt meede and Portwaye' next le hony plott on north; and 1 acre in the same furlong next hony plott on the south. Which said 3 acres 1 rood Thomas Man, William Kyng, Thomas Byrte and John Robynson, fathers of the above persons, had of the feoffment of Thomas Russell of Moswell in the county of Middlesex, yeoman, to themselves and their heirs, by a charter dated 23 June, 33 Henry VIII [1541]. To hold the said 3 acres 1 rood to the said Richard Mylwarde, his heirs and assigns for ever.
