Donor was an apprentice at the Bedford Transmission Section of the Central Electricity Generating Board, South East Region, Kings Lynn Electrical District, at Clapham Road, Bedford in 1961 when he took these photographs. He notes the following colleagues: Harold Anderson - supervising engineer at Kings Lynn Bill Whitehead - engineer at Clapham Rd John Knight - engineer at Clapham Rd George Kerr - clerk at Clapham Rd 1321cU overhead lines came in from Sundon, Stony Stratford, Northampton, Goldington, Austin Canuns. 6.62cU cable from Prebend St. generators. Stony Stratford circuits became redundant. Goldington and earlier Prebend St. generating stations were closed. The network was reorganised to do away with this sub-station.
