    [Endorsed: "Mem. I delivered this Indenture of Mortgage to my cousin Mr. Edmund Thomas Williamson within- named and took his receipt for it and two other writings, which said mortgage he returned to me this 22 Feb. 1737 saying and owning he had pulled of the labell and seal and scratched out his name since his having it in his custody. Witnesses: A. Salvin. Talbot Williamson." "N.B. Anthony Salvin esq. witness to this mem. is a gentleman of considerable estate in county Durham and living at this present time 21 Nov. 1765 when this account of him was written by me, only brother and heir to Talbot Williamson, rector of Millbrook, Beds., and possessor of the estate.
