Memorandum to George Sherwood of New Inn in the writing of Edmund Williamson, to the effect that after receiving counsels opinion (M1/12/6) "about two months before Xmas 1746" he sent to J. Crouch by his servent John Thickpenny a letter to the effect that he had decided not to buy the estate.
