GEC "Complete Peerage" records that Fitzpatrick was a lifelong friend of Edward VI. Between 6 December 1551 and 9 December 1552 he was Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to the King of France and fought in the campaign of 1552 against the Emperor.
Fitzpatrick's correspondence with Edward VI has been published under the title of the Literary Remains of Edward VI. This page could well be a sheet from it.
