Devises [among other legacies not calendared] to niece Frances, wife of Robert Barton of Luton, fellmonger, and to half-niece Elizabeth, wife of James Curtis of Ickwell, carpenter, each 1/8 share of certain investments; on trust for nephew William Fennell and his heirs "my messuage...wherein my said nephew William Fennell now
lives...and likewise my messuage...situate at Eyworth in Beds."
[Pencil marginal note in another hand: "estate at Shefford and Eyworth"].
Witnesses: John Stoodly, Charles Luxmoore, George Gifford.
[Copy]. Endorsed: "This must be put up with Mr. Phipps' writings as part of his title to the house at Shefford bought by him in 1798."
