    -- The manors of Kempton Daubeny and Kempton St. John's; -- a mansion house in Kempston, with 3 close containing 26 acres; -- 7 acres meadow in Earle's Holme and 8 acres in the Home meadow; -- 39 acres arable in the occuparion of John and Thomas Amps; -- a cottage and close in Wood End; -- 80 acres wood in Kempston wood; -- the manor house of Marston Morteyne with 90 ac. and 7 closes -- 3 closes in Marston Morteyne called the Holmes, Gadwicks and Dovehouse, late in the occupation of Ambrose Cooper; 3 other closes called Ashcroft, Church close, and the Old Orchard in the occupation of Sylvester Doggett; Redlands close, 25 acres; Matthew Denis will settle reversion to use of William's nominees for 30 years after William's death for raising of £2000 unless he (Matthew) gives security for paying it by £500 p.a., in which case the estate is assigned to Matthew and to his heirs male, or failing such to Matthew's brother William and his heirs. Witnesses: William Warnes, Thomas Yarway, Ralph Flower. Endorsed: "The lease of Mr. M. Denis to his uncle Mr. Wm. Denis."
