    Removal Order. Certificate of Chargeability - chargeable from 4th November 1843 to the parish of St Cuthbert. Examination of Thomas Brittain Whiffen, Overseer of St Cuthbert, Bedford verifying the above. Examinations of Samuel Wing: Mary Tansley: I am about 26 years of age and am a singlewoman. A few days before Old Michaelmas Day 1832 being an unmarried person not havibng child or children I was hired into the parish of Woburn in the County of Bedford by Miss Selina Cook of the same parish, dressmaker as her household servant for one year at the wages of three pounds and my board and lodging to commence from Old Michaelmas Day then next following. I entered Miss Cook's service as agreed upon on Old Michaelmas Day 1832 and from that time I continued and abided in the same service for the space of one whole year until Old Michaelmas Day 1833 and I resided in my said Mistress's house in the said parish of Woburn for the whole period of my service. I have two children John born in the month of October 1841 at the house of John Coleman in the parish of Woburn and Sarah born on 3rd September last at a house which I ocupied of Widow Ward in St Cuthbert in this Borough. I and my children are now actually chargeable to the said parish of St Cuthbert and are the persons mentioned in the certificate of chargeabilty now produced.
